Stopped in to try a few bits on my drive through to Melbourne. The savoury slice and a plain pie (I wanted the chunky but ended up with a mince).
The pie was a pie. Nothing special to report about but the savoury slice was a revelation. I would stop in just for this if I'm anywhere near it.
Very very very BUSY ... Quality of food very nice ..we had apricot turnover plain pie custard tart plus 2 iced coffees ...its a really nice place for a break a sit down and a munchie session ..theres toilets and its just a really nice area to sit and recharge between adelaide and millicent
Stopped here for lunch while passing through. We bought 3x sausage rolls that were barely warm. The meat pie was warm but not warm enough. The chocolate eclair and custard tart were absolutely delicious! This bakery needs to make sure their food is served hot!

Popular/busy bakery in Tailem Bend, nice pies and pasties however the coffee that I got on the day was just ok.
Possibly a lovely bakery. However after asking for a freshly made egg and bacon sandwich I was told by staff that the one on display was freshly made .
I asked again for a freshly made one and she repeated again . I can ashore you it was freshly made this morning I saw it being made. After reluctantly agreeing she then heated it in the microwave. Not what I asked for not what I wanted.
Was not busy by Any means. Is it just too hard to simply to comply with the customer's request.
We were just looking for a snack, ended up having an amazing and fulfilling lunch with just 2 pies. 100% recommended (we had the potato, the tuna and the apple slice - very yummy 😋)
I used the Bakery to cater for a private family/friends get together at Tailem Bend and the value for money was fantastic, the food was fresh and the staff were brilliant - they even went the extra mile and helped me carry the large boxes to the car.
I'd definitely recommend the food as nobody was left hungry.
